Self-existent traveler through the quantum cosmos,
Stirred awake as I dream, I know you are real!
Please soften my touch and sweeten my heart!
Oh, naked love, I am afraid to feel!
Love and death! Now I know!
We are deceived to think we are worthy of this.
Human love and living love do not compare.
Living Love! Fire of Life! I die for you!
Advanced Commentary
Coming into the presence of the living love flame requires certain qualities which must resonate with the flame itself. The voice of this prayer has a soft touch and a sweet heart and passes through the veil into the presence, where it apprehends the absolute tenderness of the living love flame. It recognizes this flame as the one pure existence flame in infinite contemplation of itself, sending into the world waves of love so tender that even close proximity is enough to burst the subtle boundaries that account for individual seeing and knowing. This voice cannot feel infinite love until it realizes the union of love and death.
The voice realizes in an instant the necessity of the many layers of living fabric needed to cover the nakedness of a pure existence flame. As the voice seeks irresistibly to penetrate the veil, it is the living love flame which rises in order to save it from foolhardiness; in the same gesture, the flame asks to be shielded from the invasion of such a coarse gaze as that of the voice.
Having apprehended the appropriateness of the warnings it has received and watched another layer of the veil come into place, the voice reviews the wisdom its vision has left it: love requires illusion to live; human beings are not worthy of the living flame; human love and god love do not compare. The godseed realization of this prayer is that the only entryway into the living flame of love is death. The intent of this voice is clear: “I die for you!”
