49 Surrendering Human Love

Pure Existence Godbeing in my own awake space,
Self-existent traveler through the quantum cosmos,
Stirred awake as I dream, I know you are real!
Please, strengthen the hearts of those who love!

We gather for comfort. Love’s illusion prevails.
We cling to each other like lovers in bliss.
The guardians of the heart disappear in the shadows.
Love’s dark chalice spills at midnight.

Hidden Dragon! We offer it to you!
Otherwise we stay bound in the womb of life!
Only you can free us by making us strong!
Love’s last illusion! It alone is real.

Living Love! Fire of Life! Make love strong!
Living Love! Fire of Life! Make love strong!
Living Love! Fire of Life! Make love strong!

There are always reasons why you cannot step out onto the plane of pure existence and claim your destiny. Look into the heart of your question and find what you are holding onto. What last grasp or reassurance is clinging to your heels as you seek to come out of the womb of human love?

Even as you contemplate what godspace realities could be like, you are measuring those possibilities against your deepest experience of human love, which is rooted in the biochemistry of mortal life. When you come to this prayer card, you face the ultimate challenge: releasing the one redeeming and most compelling experience in life in favor of something absolutely impossible for the heart to accept.

Human love and living love do not compare. Nothing can save you from this truth. No imprint of human form in your heart, not even those you call lover, guru, or god, can survive the unwrapping of the veil. The illusion of two, you and your beloved other, must eventually surrender to the truth of the godbeing, who is managing your life as its life. No matter whom you love, he or she is already you.

With the veil in place, love is a binding cord of energy that leaps across the chasm of self and other. From within godspace, love is a cord that leaps across the chasm between existence and non-existence. A godbeing loves an “other” being who is as compelling and convincing a reality to it as it is to itself in is pure existence condition. You will know the truth of living love when you realize you cannot surrender love without dying, and you cannot live without loving. The dark chalice spills at midnight.

Advanced Commentary
This prayer begins with a plea for all human beings who have sought their redemption from suffering in love. Underneath this affirmation of love, however, there lies, for this voice, the realization that love, as experienced through human travail, offers no enduring return. This voice feels for all of humanity, but it addresses specifically those who realize individually that in order to traverse the corridors of truth, one must do it alone.

Stanza two marks the stages whereby a single human life in direct contact with the one pure existence field sheds love as the final pretense of reality. Even as the two lovers cling to each other, the sentinels of the heart, which have sustained human beings through love, disappear into the original pure existence field, “the shadows.” At the darkest point of realization, at the moment of surrender, the cup that contains the essence of love, far from being lifted into the unknown as an offering, unceremoniously spills its contents back into the void.

In the Hidden Dragon stanza, the “two” make their final acceptance on the way into singularity. Love as they have known it depends upon two, which now must take on unassailable fortitude as it faces its demise, which only the Dragon can provide. Two beings in the last remnants of their self-recognition pray for strength just as they surrender to the truth. Love’s last illusion, of which they are the expression, can only be real within the singularity experience. The final illusion of love brings love to its maximum strength.

The godseed of this prayer is to manifest the love that accepts the truth of its non-existence.
